People ask me all the time.. baking? What was the deciding factor? It is actually quite simple. Baking started as a fun hobby as well as an escape from everyday life stressors. When I was sad, I baked. When I was stressed, I baked. When I was happy, I baked. I realized baking became more than just an outlet. It made me happy. An inside happy. The child laughter inside, can't wait until Christmas, kind of happy. A huge stress factor was being a single parent. I had to find ways to make the simple of memories last forever. I found out baking allowed me to capture those moments.
The endless smiles and beautiful memories being made simply by the cakes, cupcakes and other treats that I made. This made my heart smile.
